This Sunday - join us to protest De Blasio!

This Sunday, Politics Reborn will be holding a Rally FOR FAIR HOUSING against De Blasio in New York City at 1 pm at 442 11th St, Brooklyn.

Come out and tell Bill de Blasio we need fair housing in NYC!

Love him or hate him, Bill de Blasio answers to YOU, a New Yorker and a voter, as your mayor. Make your voice heard! Come out and tell your mayor you want fair housing for all New Yorkers - not after the election, not in a few years, NOW:

Tax equity: Billionaire developers need to pay their fair share in taxes. Our city budget can’t be balanced on the backs of low and middle income New Yorkers. We need tax relief to keep renters and co-op owners in their homes.
Stop shelter segregation: Communities across the city need to bear the responsibility for housing the homeless, not just a few. More shelters need to be built in more areas in the city, instead of more hotels to insufficiently house the homeless in South East Queens.
Keep families in their homes: Stop selling NYCHA buildings and call more a moratorium on evictions in NYCHA.

Everyone and their signs are welcome! We’ll have sign making materials on hand for those who get a great sign idea on arrival. Bring your signs, bring your chants, bring your energy, and we’ll show De Blasio that our communities expect action on fair housing NOW.

RSVP and details here!

P.S. If you don't live in New York City, and would like to receive more relevant emails from us, please consider asking us to join our project management site Basecamp -it's a great way to stay organized and involved!
